Obituary for Karen Rodriguez
Graveside services for Laraine Rodriguez, 66, will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Childress Cemetery with Dr. Craig Darter officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Childress.
Karen Laraine Walker was born July 18, 1954 in Childress to Wayne and Charlene Walker. She was a 1972 graduate of Childress High School and was a medical transcriptionist at Childress Regional Medical Center. She loved her grand dog, Gus, and she liked to be alone. She loved music, especially The Moody Blues, and enjoyed television, especially cooking, true crime and do-it-yourself shows. Above all she loved her family and her grandson, Kason, very much.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Walker, and a sister, Sharon Elaine Walker.
Survivors include her father, Wayne Walker, of Childress; a daughter, Emily Hazelwood, of Childress; a son, Dylan Rodriguez, of Childress; a grandson, Kason Rodriguez along with numerous cousins, other family members and friends.
