Obituary for June Easley
Helen June Easley, age 84, passed from this life on Thursday, January 24, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM on Monday, January 28, 2019 in the Joe E. Jones Memorial Chapel in Childress Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home.
Helen June Easley was born on February 13, 1934 in Mazie, Oklahoma to Charles Clinton and Ethel Marie Cannon. June worked at Turners Nursing Home and cleaned houses to provide for 7 children. She was the master of Zelda in Nintendo. She enjoyed watching old and scary movies, drinking coffee and her dog, Charlie. The love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was called Mamaw, Nana and Nana Junebug.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steve Cannon; Son-in-law, Grady Gray; daughter-in-law, Pam Easley.
She is survived by:
Daughter - Sheri Gray and husband, James
Son - Larry Easley and wife, Yvonne
Son - Billy Easley
Daughter - Cheryl Price and husband, Albert
Son - Terry Easley and wife, Carrie
Daughter - Debra Sherrill and husband, Bart
Son - Ricky Easley and Sharon Wynn
17 Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren
