Martinez was born on May 8, 1935 in Aspermont, Texas to Herado and Maria Martinez. He is preceded in death by his wife Elisa Martinez. He is survived by: 2 Daughters: Ninfa Ibarra and Husband Jesus; Maria Garza and Husband Saul.
