Obituary for Jose Chairez
A viewing and visitation for Jose Antonio Miguel Chairez, 20, will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel from 1-5 p.m. No memorial services have been set at this time.
He passed away May 30, 2022 in Borger.
Jose was born November 9, 2001 to Edmundo Chairez and Norma Lugo in Childress.
He was known and loved by many. To know him was to love him. Jose enjoyed life. He loved hikes, music, freestyling, and spending time with his family and friends. He always knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. Jose’s heart was so huge and generous. He made friends everywhere he went. For now, we say see you later not goodbye. Until we meet again, fly high sweet angel. Gone but never forgotten.
Survivors include his mother, Norma Lugo, of Childress; his father, Edmundo Chairez and wife, Katrina, of Borger; his dad, Emilio Cham of Lonoke, Arkansas; brother Johnathan Lane of Borger; sister, Jessica Lane of Borger; sister Maylin Chairez of Borger; brother, Edmundo Chairez Jr., stepbrothers Elijah Guerrero, Juan Chairez and Raider Chairez; stepsisters Kiara Montoya and Paula Chairez; grandparents Mike and Irene Lugo along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
