Jewel “Sis” Mae (Osborn) Morris passed away on March 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Estelline First Baptist Church with Jeffrey Smith officiating, and Anthony Knowles assisting. Burial will follow in Estelline Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Jewel was born August 14, 1932, to Mack and Dessie Osborn in Boswell, OK. She married J.D. Morris on October 21, 1950 and they had five children. Jewel and J.D. farmed in the Estelline area. Jewel retired as the head cook of the Estelline schools, but continued working as a housekeeper for many people. She was a member of the Estelline First Baptist Church. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, J.D., and three sons, Jack, Jeff and Joel. Survivors include her daughter, Janice Richey of Estelline; one son, Mark Morris of Estelline; five grandchildren: Coby Richey, Kayla Richey, Stacy Morris, Will Morris and Denver Morris; and six great-grandchildren: Madison Montville, Abby Morris, Bailee Morris, Ainslee Morris, Jack Morris and Thalia Morris.
