Obituary for Jeanne Forbis
Jeanne Forbis, age 91, passed away on December 30, 2019 in Abilene, TX.
Funeral Services will be on 11:00am, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lou Ellerbrook officiating. Burial will immediately follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Jeanne Forbis was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 8, 1928 to Henry Moore Broadnax and Alberta (Appleton) Broadnax.
She was a member of Modern Home Club and the First United Methodist Church of Childress. She also served as a hospice volunteer.
She is preceded in death by her parents: husband, John T. Forbis; brother, Henry M. Broadnax.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Nancy Forbis-Stokes and husband, George of Abilene, TX; grandson, John Forbis and wife, Alisha of Amarillo, TX; grandson, Aaron Forbis-Stokes and wife, Natalie of Durham, NC; great grandchildren, Emery, Eiley and Jantz Forbis of Amarillo, TX.
