Janie Meadows age 65 passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 2 P.M. at the Church of Christ with Craig Darter officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma on Monday, October 17 at 2 P.M. Janie was born on February 13, 1951 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Richard L. and Bessie Beatrice (Searcy) Meadows. Janie loved music and loved to dance. She loved to watch American Bandstand and love collecting purses. She loved to go out and eat and her favorite color was blue. Janie is survived by her brother, Luther Wayne Meadows from Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Judy Ann Baker and husband, Maxie Baker of Childress, TX.; and sister, Vicky S. Meadows Edelman and husband, Lloyd of Fort Worth, TX; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. Janie is preceded in death by her parents, Richard L. and Bessie Beatrice (Searcy) Meadows; and her brother Richard James Meadows.
