Funeral services for Janet Ruiz will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on December 10, 2017, at 6:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel Janet Ruiz, age 59 of Childress, entered Heaven’s gates on December 8, 2017. She was born on May 28, 1958 in Paducah, Texas. A consummate wife, mother and homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved watching “Spanish Novelas” and cruising around town with her niece and best friend Bertha Tagle. Bertha cared for Janet the last few years of her life. Janet nourished people around her with love and faith. Regardless the many tribulations that she endured, she always had a smile on her face and unwavering faith in God. She was a warrior and will forever be her children's Hero. She was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church. Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Manuela Medina, 2 Brothers, Rudy and Santos Salazar, Sister, Linda Trejo, Brother-in-law, Ismael Trejo, 2 Nieces, Sandy and Monica Trejo, Nephew, Ismael Trejo, Jr. She is survived by: Husband- Albino Ruiz 2 Daughters- Elizabeth Del Rio , MayBelle Nieto 3 Sons-Jacob Garcia and wife Nerybel, Antonio Nieto, Roy Nieto Grandchildren-Cassidy, Caitlyn, Robin, Rachel, Chloe, Haylee, Alexia, Klarissa, Kylee, Kendalyn, Kaydence, Christopher, Ayden, Riley, Teagan, Emma and Ryker 3 Brothers-Guadalupe, Johnny, Jesse 3 Sisters-Juana, Rosa, Mary Many close cousins, nieces and nephews “For God so loved the world that He have His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”-John 3:16
