Obituary for James White
Graveside services for James P. White, 85, will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
He passed away January 14, 2022 in Childress.
He was born July 12, 1936 in Fort Worth to Art White and Josephine Wilson White.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edith White, a sister, Wanda Rankin, a grandson, Clint Hinton and a son in law Jim Cariveau.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Lawson and husband, Steve; and Glenda Cariveau; six grandchildren, Renee Miller and husband, Larry, of Channing, Chris King of San Angelo, Tony Hinton of Childress, Hailey Cariveau of Childress, Jesse Cariveau of El Paso and Jody Hinton and wife, Tarah, of Childress and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to the charity of your choice.
