James Sydney “Jim” Heath, age 81, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.
Services will be held on 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with Lou Ellerbrook Officiating.  Burial will immediately follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home.
Jim was born on August 12, 1937 in Childress to Sydney Heath and Mary Jane (Sherwood) Heath.  He was involved in many different organizations. He was a member of JC’s, Young Farmers, Elk’s Lodge, and Old Settlers.  He was also a life-long member of the First United Methodist Church.  He loved to plow and drive his lawnmower. His great granddaughters were his world.
He is preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Virginia Heath.
