Obituary for Jacquelyn Elliott

Graveside services for Jacquelyn Elliott, 93, will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Northfield Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Childress.
Jacquelyn Mitchell was born January 10, 1927 in Childress to Harry Jackson Mitchell and Rosetta Johnson Mitchell.
She married R.C. Elliott on October 26, 1946 in a double wedding with Clem and Gladys Timmons. She loved people, all of them, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She worked in three factories and cleaned houses for a lot of people. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed serving people in her home and was an excellent cook. She could make a great meal out of leftovers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband R.C. Elliott and her siblings Joe Bill Mitchell, Dick Mitchell, John Mitchell, Rosemary Reynolds and Betty Jane Hodges.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Elliott and wife, Mary and Robert Elliott and wife, Karen; a daughter, Mary Jane Moseley and husband, Larry; grandchildren Mitch Elliott and wife, Anita, Mike Elliott and wife, Amy, Jim Elliott and wife, Audra, Sally O’Hair and husband, Micah, Jaime Elliott, Seth Elliott and wife, Amanda, Kim Underwood and husband, Bill, and Kenneth Evans and wife, Sherrie, 26 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Estelline.
