Funeral services for Ida Bragg, 76, will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God in Paducah with Carl Savage officiating. Visitation will be held at the church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Ida Bell Rogers was born on April 25, 1943 in Martel, Tennessee to Ruby Faye Love and Melchi Rogers. She passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 in Childress.
She moved to Paducah in 1975 with husband Dennis Fairbairn. He passed away in 1978. She married Raymond Truelock in 1979. He passed away on August 31, 2000. She married Kenneth C. Bragg on May 11, 2002.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Margaret Jones, Evanell Tinajuaro and Rebecca Willis and two brothers, James Woodard and Melvin Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Kenny, and her beloved baby Tazamin; brother, Roy E. Rogers of Merryville, Tennessee; sister-in-law Karen Bragg Scott and husband, Mike; stepchildren Travis Truelock of Childress, Billy Sue Sanders of Dallas, Shirley Mowery of Granbury and Donna Holcomb of Paducah; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was Nanna to many children in town and she loved to fish, play Monopoly and spending time with her family.
Memorials may be made to the Paducah Cemetery Association and Childress Regional Medical Center Hospice.
