Gary Rothwell, age 62, died Saturday, February 08, 2014 in Childress. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Gary was bornTuesday, August 28, 1951 in Childress, TX to O.T. and Floy (Richardson) Rothwell. He had been a farmer in Childress all of his life. A member of the Childress Country Club, he was an avid golfer who played every time the weather permitted, and will be greatly missed by his golfing buddies. He also loved playing dominoes. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Leland Rothwell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
