Obituary for Frances Dee Wheeler

Memorial services for Frances Dee Winn Wheeler, 87, will be held at First Baptist Church of Estelline on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. She passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She passed into eternity at home with her four children by her side.

She was born Frances Dee Williams in Duncan, Oklahoma on January 13, 1935. A few years later, she was placed in Cornish Children’s Home in Ringling, Oklahoma. At age 7, Frances was adopted by Parge and Opal Winn of Parnell, Texas. Little Frances was blessed to have parents who cherished and nurtured her.

Frances attended school in Turkey, Texas and flourished there. Her favorite class was Home Economics, and this is where she learned her motto of “doing a million and one things that make a house a home”.

As a young high school girl, Frances met Harold Wheeler, whom she fell in love with and married on August 29, 1953. Harold and Frances had four children that caused them considerable grief until the trouble makers topped fool’s mountain; thankfully the four turned out OK.

Frances was survived by her children: Nimra and Joe Stuckey of Bella Vista, Ark.; Danny and Sherry Wheeler of Florence, Ala.; Cindy and Lonnie Wall of Parnell, Texas and Mike and Paige Wheeler of Ransom Canyon, Texas. Along with her children, Frances is survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Frances was preceded in death by her sweet husband, Harold Wheeler and precious great-grandchild, Brylee Carter.

Frances accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young girl and lived her life for Him. She was a devoted wife and loving mother who spent her life loving and praying for her family and friends.

The family has the greatest and warmest gratitude to all of those who cared for and loved Frances. Our Mom was blessed with special friends! Memorial donations may be sent to your local children’s home. At Mom’s request: for anyone that will be voting (less than legally) on her behalf, please vote Republican.
