Fleta "Jodie" Wilks, age 79, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Kirkland. Services will be 2:00PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Childress with Rev. Steven Ball officiating . Burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Jodie was born November 15, 1933 in Caddo, Oklahoma to Raymond and Jewel Lorance. Her favorite passtime was tending her livestock of cattle and horses, and also gardening. She also enjoyed playing dominoes and any game, especially Yatzee. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Raymond Gene Lorance and sister, Helen Ruth McGuire.
