Memorial services for Estella Vela, 66, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Sudhakar Sangabathini officiating.
She passed away December 4, 2021 in Childress.
Estella Rodriguez was born January 17, 1955 in Memphis, Texas to Cristobal Rodriguez and Corina Reyna Rodriguez.
She enjoyed her family and loved Bingo, crosswords, family gatherings and drinking coffee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Mary Ann Martinez; a son, Marcelino Vela, Jr. and a sister, Zulema Galan.
Survivors include her husband Marcelino Vela; daughters Diana Furr and husband, Jeff and Dominga Court; a son Concepcion Vela; grandchildren April Gordon, Aric Furr, Austyn Furr, Ashley Franco, Alyssa Court, Colby Martinez, Marcelino Vela III and Melina Vela; eight great grandchildren; siblings Cristobal Rodriguez, Jr., Antonia Tarango, Mary Jane Fiscal, Amelia Garcia, Robert Rodriguez, Sr., Angelia Garcia and numerous other extended family members.
