Elivario "Goyo" Arellano, age 82, died Thursday, August 14, 2014. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father David Contreras officiating . Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Rosary will be held at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 6:00 PM. Elivario "Goyo" Arellano was born on March 6, 1932 in Derby, Texas to Refugio and Petra Guzman Arellano Sr. A man of faith, he was genuinely a calm, loving, kind, non-judgemental and sincere man who was always there for others. He was dependable, and always had an open door to those in need, but he didn't want to be a burden to others. "Goyo" had an artistic soul, and had several drawings that he had done. He also loved cars and reading. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his family whom he loved dearly. Although he had no children, he considered Jesus, Angelica, Joe Luis, and Anastacio as his own. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Eugenio, Jesus and Jose Luis. He is survived by: Sister - Alejandrina Ibarra and husband, Frank, Childress, TX Brother - Refugio Arellano, Jr. and wife, Maria, Childress, TX Numerous Nieces and nephews Extended Family and friends
