Eddie Lewis, age 46, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Woodward, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church with Pastor Don McFarland officiating. A graveside service was held previously for family at the Kirkland Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Eddie was born on January 4, 1971 in Artesia, N.M. to William and Joanne Lewis. He graduated from Quanah High School in 1990 and later received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He also achieved the Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouting. He married Stephenia June 1, 1999 in Altus, Okla. At the time of his death he was a truck driver for Kemp Jones Trucking. Stephenia was able to be with Eddie on his truck for fellowship and to enjoy God’s scenery. He was preceded in death by his father in 2007. Survivors include his wife, Stephenia; three children, P.J. of Stockton, Kan. and Thomas and Gena both of Childress; six grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Baptist Church for missions.
