Edna Lou Jones, age 81, passed away in Childress, TX on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Childress Cemetery with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Edna was born on December 5, 1936 in Hollis, OK. Edna adored her children and grandchildren. Edna was a devoted christian who read her bible every morning. She loved to crochet. She had a servant’s heart and donated 12 to 15 afghans a year to Toys for Tots. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching WWE, listening to Elvis and keeping in touch with family and friends on facebook.. Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jones; parents, 3 sons, Doug, Randy and Cecil Jones; 2 sisters, Bobby Snyder and Betty Vaughn. She is survived by: Sister – Glenda Faye Grey of Denison, TX Sister – Jane Wiggins of Eddy, TX Brother – Roy Gepner of Eddy, TX Brother – Brown Gepner of Eddy, TX Daughter – Patricia “Sissy” Cope of Chickasha, OK Daughter – Gina Garcia and husband, Ottis of Childress, TX Grandchilden Rodney Jones and wife, Jessica Jones of Moore, OK Kevin Jones and wife, Holly of Denison, TX Beckey Jones of Childress, TX Bonnie Satterfield and husband, Derek of Childress, TX Michael Jones of Amarillo, TX Sheri Jones of Texas Tina Jones of Canyon, TX Jeff Nickel and wife, Annette of Amarillo, TX Kati Garcia of Childress, TX Cameron Garcia of Canyon, TX 8 Great Grandchilren Numerous Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.
