Dorothy Ellen Sanger, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Childress. Memorial services were held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11 AM in the Goodlett Baptist Church with Rev. Monte Lumpkin, Pastor, officiating. Dorothy was born on September 19, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to David Smallwood and Adelaide (Cox) Smallwood. She married Clark Sanger in Santa Monica, California in 1963. She obtained her Associates Degree in Teaching in Petersburg, VA, and worked as an Elementary School Teacher and business woman for many years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers David and Steve. Survivors include two sons, Scott Sanger of Washington, DC, and Mark Sanger and wife, Erica of Tomball, TX; one brother, Robert Smallwood, Jr. of New Braunfels, TX; and two grandchildren, Gabriella and Karina Sanger, both of Tomball, TX.
