Delfina “Del” Villarreal, age 38 of Childress, passed away on March 25, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be at 10 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronnie Shoffner, officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 7:15 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Delfina was born August 26, 1975 in Wellington, Texas to Guadalupe Villarreal, Sr. and wife, Candelaria Gonzalez Villarreal. She was a very outgoing person who loved to talk. Del loved the outdoors and loved to dance. She was always cheerful, and you would never see her without a smile. Delfina was preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Villarreal, Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Chadwick of Childress; son, Paul Allin Walker of Childress; husband, Jeffrey Chadwick of Childress; her mother, Candelaria Villarreal of Childress; sister, Gracie Sanchez and husband, Ruben, of Lubbock; brother, Daniel Villarreal and wife, Betty, of Lubbock; sister, Delia Thomas and husband, Randy, of Wellington; brother, David Villarreal and wife, Mary, of Childress; Brother, Guadalupe Villarreal, Jr. and wife, Alice, of Childress; sister, Celia Castillo of Lubbock; sister, Christella Vasquez and husband, Ricky, of Childress; and 20 nieces and nephews.
