David H. Wright, age 61, of Childress passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the Joe Jones Chapel at the Childress Cemetery with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. David Haskett Wright was born in Childress on December 24,1955 to Donald Haskett Wright and Berniece Havins Wright. He was a graduate of Childress High School and was a former employee of BNSF. His favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting arrowheads and watching western movies. David was preceded in death by his father in May 1979 and by his mother in May 2017. He was an only child.
