Obituary for David Rico Jr.
Funeral mass for David Rico Jr., 62, will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father John Sudhakar Sangabathini officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Rosary will be read at 6 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, west of the funeral home.
He passed away May 25, 2023 in Childress.
David was born May 25, 1961 in Childress to David Rico Sr. and Roberta Martinez Rico.
He enjoyed hanging out with friends and loved his family. He loved to barbecue and enjoyed collecting arrhowheads. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and he enjoyed watching the old westerns. He always had to have his handkerchief and he loved camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Rico Sr. and a brother, George Rico Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Roberta Rico; three sisters, Elizabeth Brown and husband, Mike, Johnnie Juarez and Mary Ramos and husband, Jimmy; a brother, Alex Rico; a niece, Justice Hernandez and a daughter, Andrea Hernandez.
He passed away May 25, 2023 in Childress.
