David Cano Dominguez, age 92, passed away on December 3, 2016 in Childress. Rosary will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 7 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 2 PM in the Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Marco officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. David was born on November 27, 1924 in Mexico to Marcial and Buenabentura (Cano) Dominguez. He loved to ride his bike around town, loved horses, and helping others with their yards. Above all else, he loved spending time with his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cira Manduano, two sons Cayo Dominguez and Gulfrido Dominguez, a daughter Irma Dominguez, a granddaughter Gabrielle Dominguez; and a grandson Hector Dominguez. Survivors include his children: Abigail Dominguez, Refugio Dominguez, Emma Dominguez, David Dominguez, Gelacio Dominguez, Fransisco Dominguez, Rigoberto Dominguez, Hector Dominguez, and Esther Dominiguez; one brother, Lupe Dominguez; 37 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-granchildren.
