Lyle Glover, age 86, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Graveside services have been set for 10:00 AM on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Childress Cemetery. Burial is under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Lyle was born on October 7, 1929 in Childress County to Luther and Brunie (Hopkins) Glover. Lyle proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Childress American Legion. He was an avid gardener, and loved to read. He will be missed dearly by his sister, Clydie Love, with whom he visited with daily. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Cliva Sooter and Clyde Glover. Survivors include: Sister - Clydie Love of Childress, TX Two Nephews – Norman D.
