Obituary for Danny Darling
On Saturday, August 19, 2023 Danny Eugene Darling went to be with the Lord. He passed at BSA Hospital in Amarillo.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Briarwood Church in Pampa.
Danny was born in Pampa, Texas July 20, 1949 to Glen and Vera Darling.
At an early age, Danny developed his love for music and his love for playing the drums.
Through the years, Danny played his music with many talented musicians. He played from California to New York, Canada and through different parts of Europe fulfilling his passion.
Danny will be greatly missed by his family and by the many friends he gained during his life and by the music world.
He was preceded in death by his newborn son Jacob T. Darling, his parents, his grandparents, a brother, Tommy R. Darling; a niece, Teresa Darling Wallace and her two children, Little Rhea and Kensie Wallace.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Noah Darling and Tiffany Lowe and his loving grandchildren Luna Darling and Lux Darling; brother, Don Darling; brother, Pat Darling; sister, Suzie Sikes and husband, Gerald; sister, Cindy Carr and husband, J.D.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to www.musicares.org, the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
