Funeral services will be at 10 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the Joe E. Jones Memorial Chapel in Childress Cemetery with Rev. Gary McClendon officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel Clydie Love went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2017. She lived in Childress most of her 95 years.  Clydie was born on October 8, 1921 in Childress to Luther and Brunie (Hopkins) Glover.   She and Norman Love were married on November 8, 1940 in Childress, and they shared 48 happy years together before his passing in 1988.  She was a devoted Christian, loving mother and a dedicated member of the First Assembly of God Church in Childress. Her commitment to the Lord, her wisdom, her loving kindness, and her sharp wit were highly treasured and will be the cornerstone of her legacy to her family.   Clydie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and siblings Dave Glover, Clyde Glover, and Cliva Sooter. Clydie's family includes two sons, Norman Love and wife Leticia of El Paso and Rodney Love and wife Teresa of Grand Prairie; five grandchildren, Jason, Norman Jr., Jennifer, Mark and Scott; three great-grandchildren, Eli, Ben, and Ethan and numerous extended family and friends.
