Clint Wayne Crawford, age 79, died Thursday, May9,2013 in Childress. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Childress Church of Christ with Mr. Trey Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Visitation will be held friday evening at Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Clint was born on August 30, 1933 in Roswell, New Mexico to Martin and Bertha Rea Crawford. Stationed in Greenland, Clint served his country in the Army. He and Joyce Story married November 11, 1962 in Electra, Texas. They had celebrated 50 years together. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad as materials manager. Clint loved life and people. A few of his favorite passtimes were fishing, gardening, and putting puzzles together with Joyce. In a large part of Texas, Clint knew ALL the good eating places. He was a member of Childress Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Bertha Crawford.
