Christopher Thomas Moore, 60, was born May 23, 1962 to Michael and Lilian Moore in Vancouver, Canada. He went to ride horses with his Lord and Savior Jesus on April 3, 2023.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Chris was a man who loved the Lord and shared that love with everyone he met. He cherished his family and friends. He looked forward to church every Sunday at Tell Southside Baptist Church. One of his favorite activities was checking on friends with his daily phone calls. Chris spent his life breaking and training horses until his last breath. He loved to bring a young 2-year-old colt to it’s fullest potential. His grandchildren, Colt and Emma, were his pride and joy. Chris loved to watch them play sports and cheer on their teams. Two of his proudest moments were when he got to baptize both his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Moore; their children, Justin Moore and Jodi Chlo Moore; his grandchildren, Colt and Emma Moore; his parents, Michael and Lilian Moore; a sister, Caroline James and husband, Bryan; a sister, Kim Moore; a niece, Natasha James and a nephew, Michael James and wife, Michaela.
He will be missed by his family and many friends. If Chris knew you, he counted you as a friend.
