Memorial services for Carolyn Lane, 78, will be held at a later date. She passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 in Childress.
She was born January 24, 1945 in Rotan, Texas to Henry and Lida Sims Bruce.
She loved growing flowers and plants and loved her grandkids. She was an amazing baker and was a strong, Christian woman who loved God above all. She loved her dogs and online shopping. She was a wonderful mom.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lane, and a daughter, Tammie.
Survivors include a daughter Diane Taylor and husband, Carey, of Lubbock; a son Tory Hammons of El Paso; a daughter Devia Rhodes and husband, Mark, of Wichita Falls; a son Terry Lane of Wichita Falls; a daughter Amanda Moore and husband, Travis, of Childress; a son Johnathan Lane of Borger and a daughter Jessica Lane of Borger along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
