Obituary for Carl V. Seal
Carl V. Seal, age 92, passed away on February 13, 2024 in Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Terry Williams officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Cee Vee Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home.
Carl was born on June 5, 1931 to Quincy Ova Seal and Sarah Ann (Monk) Seal in Cee Vee, Texas.
Carl served our country in the United States Army. He was a very loving and kind man who’s blue eyes sparkled when he greeted you with his beautiful smile. He was a widower two times previously before marrying Linda Mayden Seal on July 15, 2014. He was a farmer and rancher most of his life and he loved every aspect of his profession. He was a dedicated man who was a member of several Masonic lodges including Quanah, Childress, Paducah, Matador and Coalinga, California.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Mike Litz; sister, Nelda Moran; first wife, Marsha (Perkins) Seal; second wife, Merlene (Litz) Seal.

Son - Clinton Seal and wife, Grace of Las Vegas, NV
Son - Jack Litz of Amarillo, TX
Daughter - Gail Erickson and husband, Derek of Iowa Park, TX
Stepson - Jay Mayden and wife, Sharalyn of Childress, TX
Stepdaughter - Misty Mayden of Amarillo, TX
Brother - Nick “Glen” Seal and wife, Pat of Cee Vee, TX
Sister - Nadiah “Nada” Smith of Vernon, TX
Sister - Nynvia Mills and husband, Ronald of College Station, TX
