Obituary for Bonnie McWhorter
Bonnie McWhorter, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
Graveside services will be at 10 AM on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Childress Cemetery with Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Burial is under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Bonnie was born on July 4, 1950 in Childress to Earl and Tempie Maxwell. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, enjoyed playing on her tablet and travelling. She had a quirky sense-of-humor, loved her dog Lucy and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gene Maxwell and Troy Maxwell, sisters Jessie and Loreen, and her daughter Lori.
Survivors include her daughter, Leshia Barber and wife, Samantha of Washington; brother, Lonnie Maxwell of Vernon; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be directed to Calvary Baptist Church.
