Billie M. Peery, age 86, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Childress. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Fairview Church of Christ with Dr. Craig Darter officiating . Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM Billie was born on December 26, 1927 in Tell, TX to Sam Henry and Lillie Mae (Lauderdale) Peery. He and Katie Griffin were married on March 20, 1956 in Childress. Billie was a Chief Inspector for Tx DOT for 40 years. He was a member of the Childress Masonic Lodge #695 and of the Fairview Church of Christ. Preceeding him in death were his wife, Katie; his parents; and a brother, John H. Perry.
