Obituary for Joann Miller
Funeral services for Joann Miller, 88, will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Childress Church of Christ with Trey Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away July 26, 2022 in Childress.
Joann Heath was born August 24, 1933 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Alvin Heath and Lola Beatrice Baker Heath.
She loved to garden and crochet. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren the most. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed teaching the kids how to cook. She made the best tacos and fried pies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Miller, four brothers, Wayne Heath, Terry Heath, Jerry Heath and Phillip Heath and two sisters, Madonna and Judy Cross.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas A. Miller and wife, Debbie, David Miller and Randy Miller and wife, Gaynell; a daughter, Shirley Trosper and husband, Mike; a brother, Rudy Heath and wife Linda along with 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
