Obituary for Betty Love
Betty Love, 84, was born on September 14, 1939 in Lindsey, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on April 5, 2024 in Childress. A memorial service will be held at a later date with her remains being interred in Slaton Cemetery.
Betty grew up around Lindsey, Oklahoma most of her youth was spent in Oklahoma. Betty was a woman of many trades but the one she enjoyed the most was being a mom. She worked at Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen, and in the cafeteria at Slaton Schools. She loved to read, listen to country music, eat ice cream, play bingo, and go to the casino’s.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Shelia Crisp and husband Corky and Bryan Love and wife Tammy, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Wayne Love, her parents; Leslie Beam and Buna Beam, her brother; Jack Rolen and her sister; Helen Sisson and her son Leslie Love.
