Funeral services for Beckie Vaughn will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00Am at the Parkview Baptist Church with Pastor Don McFarland officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Beckie was born on March 17, 1921 in Branson, Colorado to Joseph Irving and Emma Cook. Beckie was a great story teller and loved life. She seemed to have a story for everyone. She was known for her fried apple pies. Beckie truly loved God and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Vaughn and a daughter Brenda. She is survived by: Son: Olie Vaughn and wife Linda from Little Rock, AR. Daughter: Glenda Goundie of Childress; 2 Grandchildren: Linda Garrett of Childress; Brenda Holcomb of Wichita Falls; 5 Great Grandchildren: Devon Holcomb, Lindsey Garrett, Marcus Garrett, Gunner Garrett, Austin Holcomb; Sister: Naomi Wiley Memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church at 208 Ave H.
