Barbara Douglas, age 63, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Childress Cemetery with Pastor Don McFarland officiating . Barbara was born June 1, 1949 in Waco, Texas to Frank and Zelma Copaus Shuemake Sr. She loved the outdoors, music and travel. Most of her life she was employed as a cook in restaurannts. Since moving to Childress, she had accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She is preceded in death by her parent; husband, Ronnie Douglas; two sisters, Tiny Fillinger, Paulette Butcher one brother, Frank Shuemake, Jr. Family suggest memorials be made to St Judes Hospital.
