Arley Leon Walker was born on February 9, 1962 in Memphis, TX to George Floyd Sr. and Freda Mae Walker, and passed away on January 4, 2020.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday before the service at the chapel.  He was preceded in death by his Father George Floyd Walker Sr, brother Alfred Anthony Walker, and his beloved ex-wife Michelle Renee Walker. Arley has two kids: Anthony Leon Walker of Arlington, and Amanda LeeAnn Walker-Denton (husband Jack Denton) of Denison. He also leaves behind his mother Freda Walker, sisters Sanita Walker and husband James of Childress, Jarita Walker of Childress, Janine Walker of Childress, and brother George Floyd Walker Jr. of Childress along with many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and countless lifelong friends. Arley was funny, witty, and always tried to make people laugh. He was an amazing BBQ chef, and it brought him great joy to share his cooking with his friends and family. He owned two prized possession Harley Davidson motorcycles, which he loved to take on long rides on every chance he got. Arley loved all his family and friends. It’s that love that will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He will truly be missed.
