Jimmy Bell Meacham

Jimmy Bell Meacham, age 74, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in Wellington. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012 in Dreamland Cemetery, Turkey, Texas with Mr. Stewart Smith officiating .

Jimmy Bell Meacham went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2012, at the age of 74. Jim was born on December 17,1937,in Littlefield, Texas to Ralph and Juanita Bell Meacham. Jim married Sarah Jane Moss January 21, 1962. The couple made their home in Turkey and Junction, Texas. Jim had a deep love for the Lord and was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed studying the Bible, spending time with his grandchildren and fishing. He loved being outdoors and nature. In Junction, he raised award winning pecans which were known for their size and quality. Having a loving, and giving heart, he never met a stranger. He touched lives of many people with his generosity and his sense of humor, which he maintained all the way to the end. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by one daughter, Jammie Meacham Cammack; brother, Jack Meacham; and his parents, Ralph and Juanita Meacham.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.

Survivors include: Wife - Jane Meacham, Junction, TX Son - Gary Meacham and wife, Marsha, Childress, TX Daughter - Cindy Blanke and wife, Fritz, Amarillo, TX Son - Frank Meacham, Junction, TX Grandchildren - Erica, Corey, Blake, Nikki and Brandon Great Grandgrandchildren - Carly, Harlie, Thor, and Emery Sister - Paulette Lipscomb, Turkey, TX Sister - Patricia Rattan and husband, Tom, Midland, TX
