Darrell Burrows, age 69, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Quanah. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Childress Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Hollinshed officiating

Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Darrell Wayne Burrows was born July 20, 1942 in Childress to Clifton and Lillie Gregory Burrows. Darrell was a veteran of the National Guard. He and wife, Faye Lynn Cook married August 20, 1966 at Childress Church of Christ where he held membership. After retiring from West Texas Utilities as a lineman, he farmed and ranched some and had been recently employed as an adjuster for Raine and Hail Crop Insurance Company. For 42 years, he was a member of the Elks Club.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: Wife - Faye Lynn Burrows, Childress, TX Son - Michael Burrows and wife, Christi, and their daughter, Britney of Quanah, TX, Brother - Jack N. Burrows of Childress, TX. , Sister - Barbara Hughes of Amarillo, TX. and numerous nieces and nephews
